Jacob Tierney reveals nudity was rejected in ‘Heated Rivalry’

Director Jacob Tierney revealed that actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie were willing to perform full-frontal nudity in the first season of the series ‘Heated Rivalry’, but the decision was ultimately vetoed.

Speaking at an event in Brooklyn to promote his new book, ‘I'll Believe in Anything: The Making of Heated Rivalry Season 1’, Tierney explained that he chose to focus on the emotional connection and chemistry between the characters rather than using nudity or prosthetics. He noted that he preferred to choreograph intimate scenes like dances to ensure clarity and professionalism on set, rather than relying on improvisation.

Williams previously discussed the technical aspects of filming intimate scenes, including the use of prosthetic devices to maintain modesty during production.
