Jacopo Fazzini joins Cagliari to redeem disappointing Fiorentina season

Former Fiorentina midfielder Jacopo Fazzini has signed with Cagliari, describing the club’s strong interest as the right move for his career. He said, "Cagliari wanted me strongly and I am sure I made the right choice," and expressed excitement for the upcoming campaign.

Fazzini aims to bounce back after a season that did not meet his expectations at Fiorentina, noting a "very high" desire for redemption. He recalled that his great‑grandfather Mario Baldini scored Fiorentina’s first goal a century ago and later played for Cagliari, highlighting a personal connection.
