JaCorey Williams signs two‑year contract with Italian club Valtur Brindisi

American center JaCorey Williams, 32, has completed Valtur Brindisi's roster for the 2026‑27 Serie A2 season by signing a two‑year contract that runs until 2028. The deal, announced by club president Nando Marino, reflects a significant financial commitment aimed at making Brindisi a top contender.

Williams, a left‑handed player who previously starred for Trento and Napoli in Italy’s Serie A, brings a record of high scoring, rebounding and defensive impact. He was the league’s second‑best scorer in 2020‑21, earned the LBA Rookie of the Year award, and was a key figure in Napoli’s survival campaign the following season. His career also includes stints in the G League (Canton Charge), as well as clubs in Greece, France, Montenegro, Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

Coach Nicola Brienza, who first worked with Williams in Trento, highlighted the player’s versatility and physical presence as vital for Brindisi’s ambitions in the upcoming campaign.
