Jacquees arrested in Hollywood, Florida, on DUI and battery charges

R&B singer Jacquees, born Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax, was arrested in Hollywood, Florida, on Sunday. According to Broward County booking records, the 32-year-old faces three criminal counts, including driving under the influence (DUI) and battery on an officer.

As of Sunday afternoon, the singer remained in the Broward County Main Jail. The booking information indicates a $0 bond for all charges, though it is unclear if bond was denied or if he is awaiting a judicial decision. Hollywood police have not yet released a formal arrest report detailing the circumstances leading to the encounter.

This incident follows a history of legal issues for the singer, including a 2018 arrest in Miami Beach for disorderly conduct and a 2018 arrest in Atlanta for speeding and possession of a controlled substance. In 2023, he was arrested in Gwinnett County, Georgia, following an altercation at a bar.
