Jacquees declines role on Usher and Chris Brown R&B tour

R&B singer Jacquees has addressed his absence from the co-headlining tour featuring Usher and Chris Brown. Speaking with Streetz 94.5, Jacquees stated that while he would have liked to be part of the tour, he declined certain roles because he did not want to perform as a background singer.

Jacquees expressed a desire to “hold my own” rather than taking a supporting role similar to what he perceived as the involvement of other artists like Mario or Tank. He noted that while he respects the headliners, he views maintaining his status as a featured artist as more aligned with his current career goals.

In addition to discussing the tour, Jacquees mentioned having spoken with Chris Brown prior to the tour's launch. The tour currently includes confirmed additions such as Mario and Eric Bellinger.
