Prime Video announces series adaptation of Felicia Kingsley novel

Prime Video has announced the television adaptation of Felicia Kingsley’s bestselling romance novel, ‘Due cuori in affitto’. The series will star Jacqueline Luna Di Giacomo as Stella, an aspiring screenwriter, alongside Giacomo Gianniotti, who will play the role of bestselling author Blake Avery.

While the original novel is set in the United States, the television production will relocate the setting to Italy. This change includes the Italianization of the protagonist's name from Summer to Stella. The plot follows the forced proximity of the two characters as they share a holiday home, leading to a developing romance.

Directed by Laura Chiossone, filming is scheduled to begin this autumn. This marks the second time a Kingsley novel has been adapted for the screen following ‘Non è un paese per single’.
