Jacques Elion installed as Mayor of Moungali

Jacques Elion has officially assumed his role as the Administrator-Mayor of the 4th arrondissement of Moungali in Brazzaville. The installation ceremony took place on September 1, led by the Secretary General representing the Prefect of the Brazzaville department.

Elion succeeds Sylvia Makosso Ngakabi, who served as the head of the municipality for twelve years. During the transition, officials emphasized the importance of consolidating previous achievements while introducing new directions for the community. The handover included the formal signing of official documents and the transfer of mayoral attributes.
