Jacques Houdek discusses weight loss goals and industry conflicts

Singer Jacques Houdek has addressed his ongoing struggle with weight and recent professional controversies during an appearance on the show ‘Show na kvadrat’.

Regarding his health, Houdek revealed that he has lost 30 kilograms since the 2020 pandemic lockdowns and aims to lose another 30 kilograms. Despite recent medical tests showing normal blood sugar and cholesterol levels, he expressed concern about his weight as he reaches age 45. He noted that he has discussed weight-loss medications, such as Ozempic and Mounjaro, with his physician.

On the professional front, Houdek discussed a recent conflict with singer Duška Brčić-Šušak following his public comments regarding her vocal performance. He also addressed his past experiences with HRT, including a dispute involving a costume designer on ‘The Voice Hrvatska’ that resulted in her departure from the project.
