Jacques Houdek wins awards at Zlatne žice Slavonije as Petrovac Jazz Festival celebrates 20 years

The 57th Zlatne žice Slavonije festival in Požega concluded with Jacques Houdek receiving multiple honors. Houdek won the first prize from the professional jury for the song ‘Kreni pjesmo opet kroz sokake’ and also secured the first prize from the audience via electronic voting. Additionally, he was awarded for best performance.

In Montenegro, the 20th anniversary of the Petrovac Jazz Festival concluded with performances by saxophonist Jure Pukl and the Nišville Jam Orchestra at the Palas Lux hotel terrace. Organized by NGO ‘Urbani Kult’ as part of the Interreg CAST project, the three-day event featured international jazz musicians, educational workshops, and various art promotions, including book launches and exhibitions.
