Jacques Revaux honored with sculpture in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire

A three-meter-tall sculpture dedicated to composer Jacques Revaux was inaugurated on September 12 in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire, Indre-et-Loire. The monument, created by artist Michel Audiard, is located in the Parc de la Perraudière.

Revaux is the composer behind the global hit ‘Comme d’habitude’, which became the English-language standard ‘My Way’ and has been performed by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and David Bowie. Throughout his career, he has composed over 200 hits, including notable works for Michel Sardou such as ‘Les lacs du Connemara’ and ‘La Maladie d’amour’, as well as collaborations with Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Vartan.
