Jadarian Price makes strong NFL debut for Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Jadarian Price made his NFL debut in a 13-10 Week 1 victory against the New England Patriots. Price recorded 10 carries for 52 rushing yards, averaging 5.2 yards per carry, including a long run of 13 yards.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald described Price’s performance as “decisive,” noting the rookie’s ability to make cuts and protect the football despite having no preseason repetitions. While Price showed promise, the Seahawks' backfield continues to utilize George Holani and Emanuel Wilson, particularly on passing downs and goal-line situations.

In the same game, Jaxon Smith-Njigba contributed significantly with 8 receptions for 122 yards and one touchdown. Price is expected to face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2, which may provide an opportunity for an increased workload.
