Jaddico council approves street lighting for SS 379 service road

The municipal council has passed Deliberation No. 436 regarding the installation of street lighting on the SS 379 service road near the Santa Maria Madre della Chiesa Sanctuary in the Jaddico district.

City Councilor Roberto Quarta welcomed the decision as a necessary step for the safety of pilgrims and visitors who frequent the site during evening and nighttime hours. However, he noted that the action comes one year after initial commitments were made in the council commission. Quarta emphasized the risks posed by the lack of illumination for both pedestrians and vehicles in the area and called for rapid coordination between municipal offices and ANAS S.p.A. to complete the work.
