Jaden Bray leads West Virginia wide receiver rotation

West Virginia University head coach Rich Rodriguez has designated veteran wide receiver Jaden Bray as a leader for the team's receiving corps. After enduring foot injuries during his first two years in Morgantown, Bray reports feeling "100%" and is performing at high speeds during fall camp.

To maximize his versatility, Rodriguez has begun moving Bray into the slot position for the first time. Rodriguez noted that Bray is expected to lead the group in yardage and serves as a respected veteran presence in the locker room.

While Bray is healthy, other players in the rotation face availability issues. Prince Strachan is currently dealing with an upper-body injury sustained during a spring game, providing extra repetitions for players such as freshman Landon Drumm. Rodriguez indicated the team expects to have a rotation of six to seven active wide receivers this season.
