Jadrolinija extends Zadar-Ancona fast ferry season

Jadrolinija, Croatia’s largest shipping company, has announced the extension of its Zadar-Ancona fast ferry line season until September 6. The decision follows high passenger demand during the line’s inaugural season.

The service, which utilizes the 400-capacity catamaran ‘Jelena’, connects the Croatian and Italian sides of the Adriatic coast in approximately four hours. To accommodate interest, Jadrolinija is adding extra sailings on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Promotional ticket pricing has been introduced, with adult fares set at 80 euros and children aged 3 to 12 traveling for 40 euros. The company noted that the positive response to this new international connection highlights the potential for further development of tourism and transport connectivity between the two countries.
