Singer and songwriter Jae Stephens has released the music video for her new single, ‘Sugar Trap’, via Def Jam Recordings and RAEDIO. Produced by Dallas Caton, the track features heavy bass and bouncy percussion.

The music video utilizes a dive-bar setting with an all-female crew, drawing thematic inspiration from the film ‘Coyote Ugly’. Stephens stated the song is intended to be a reminder for women to recognize their own power and value.

‘Sugar Trap’ serves as a preview for Stephens’ debut album, ‘AUDACITY’, which is scheduled for release on September 25. The artist’s recent career highlights include performing at Lollapalooza and receiving the Popheads 2025 Best New Artist Award.
