Jaecoo 8 SHS-P AWD hybrid SUV launched

The Jaecoo 8 SHS-P AWD has been introduced, featuring the Super Hybrid System (SHS-P) which combines a 1.5 TGDI four-cylinder petrol engine with three electric motors and a 3DHT automatic transmission. This plug-in hybrid setup produces a total output of 428 hp and 580 Nm of torque, allowing the large SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.

Equipped with a 34.46 kWh high-voltage battery, the vehicle offers an all-electric range of up to 134 km according to WLTP standards, with a total driving range reaching up to 1,000 km. The system supports DC fast charging, capable of moving from 30% to 80% capacity in approximately 25 minutes. The vehicle also features an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system and is designed to accommodate up to seven passengers.
