Jaecoo J5 locally produced in Vietnam announced with prices from 499 million VND

Omoda & Jaecoo (O&J) Vietnam has officially announced the pricing for the Jaecoo J5, a compact SUV manufactured locally at the company's factory in Hung Yen. This marks a strategic shift for the brand from importing vehicles to domestic production.

The Jaecoo J5 is available in four versions across three powertrain configurations: gasoline, Super Hybrid System (SHS-H), and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). The gasoline J5 Premium has a listed price of 599 million VND, while the hybrid SHS-H Premium and SHS-H Flagship are priced at 669 million and 749 million VND, respectively. The BEV Flagship is also listed at 749 million VND.

Special promotional pricing is available for the first 555 customers through August 31, 2026. Under these incentives, the gasoline model can be acquired for 499 million VND, the hybrid SHS-H Premium for 599 million VND, and both the hybrid SHS-H Flagship and the BEV Flagship for 669 million VND. The BEV model features a 58.9 kWh battery providing a range of approximately 461km.
