Jaecoo J5 SUV pricing set for Vietnam launch, up to VND 699 million

Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam will announce the official price of the Jaecoo J5 SUV on 14 August 2026 during the New Energy Night event. The model will be offered in three power‑train versions – a conventional gasoline (ICE) version, a Super Hybrid System (SHS‑H) and a fully electric (BEV) version.

The company expects the Premium ICE version to be priced no higher than VND 559 million, the SHS‑H Premium at VND 629 million, and both the SHS‑H Flagship and BEV Flagship at VND 699 million. Prices will not exceed these caps; if they do, customers who placed a deposit will receive compensation equal to five times the deposit amount. Deposits can be placed until 31 August.

The J5 measures 4.38 m × 1.86 m × 1.65 m with a 2.62 m wheelbase and offers features such as independent rear suspension, LED lighting, dual‑layer acoustic glass, electric folding mirrors, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, panoramic roof, automatic climate control, wireless charging, ADAS assistance, 540p HD camera and six airbags. The hybrid version can travel over 1,000 km per fuel‑charge cycle, while the BEV version has an NEDC range of 461 km. Warranty coverage includes a 10‑year/1 million‑km engine guarantee for the Premium and SHS‑H models and an 8‑year/160,000‑km high‑voltage battery guarantee for the BEV version.
