JAECOO launches 5 SHS-H hybrid SUV in Portugal

The OMODA | JAECOO brand has launched the JAECOO 5 SHS-H, a hybrid compact SUV, in the Portuguese market. The vehicle is available through a network of 20 national dealers with prices starting at €30,900 for the Pure version and rising to €33,690 for the Exclusive version. A fully electric (EV) alternative is also offered starting at €34,490.

The hybrid model utilizes the Super Hybrid System (SHS-H), which combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine (105 kW) with a 150 kW electric motor, producing a combined 224 cv and 295 Nm of torque. The system features a 1.83 kWh battery that recharges exclusively while driving, eliminating the need for external charging. The vehicle offers a total range of up to 905 km with a 51-liter tank and a combined WLTP fuel consumption of 5.3 l/100 km.

Performance specifications include an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 175 km/h. The brand provides a 7-year or 150,000 km warranty, with the battery covered for 8 years or 160,000 km.
