Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils new high-complication timepieces

Jaeger-LeCoultre has introduced two highly complex timepieces showcasing advanced horological engineering and artistic craftsmanship.

The Duometre Grande Complication A Grande Sonnerie is a unique piece featuring the Calibre 182 movement. Comprising 1,300 individual parts, the movement integrates 15 complications, including a Grande Sonnerie with Westminster chimes, a petite sonnerie, a minute repeater, a retrograde perpetual calendar, and a flying tourbillon. The assembly and regulation process for this movement takes approximately one year and involves 16,000 steps.

Additionally, the brand has released the Master Hybris Artistica Calibre 945, a limited edition of five pieces. This timepiece features a multi-layered celestial dial created by the Métiers Rares atelier. The design utilizes grisaille enamel—a technique involving successive layers of fired enamel to create depth through light and shadow—to depict a star chart and constellations over a midnight-blue base.
