Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils Turner-inspired Reverso enamel series

Jaeger-LeCoultre has introduced the Reverso Tribute Enamel ‘Turner Series’, a collection of four limited-edition timepieces inspired by the works of British painter J. M. W. Turner. Each watch features a miniature reproduction of a Turner landscape on the reverse of the case, depicting various views of Venice.

The miniatures, created in the brand’s Métiers Rares atelier, require approximately 80 hours of labor per piece. The process involves applying 14 layers of enamel—including three base layers, four for the painting, and seven translucent layers—each fired at 800 degrees Celsius to achieve depth and light effects. To enhance the luster of water scenes, silver leaf is used beneath the Grand Feu enamel.

The collection will be presented at the Homo Faber Biennale in Venice. Each of the four models is limited to ten pieces.
