JAF supports upcoming autotest motorsport events in Japan
The Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) is participating in upcoming autotest events in Japan, a motorsport discipline that emphasizes driving precision and allows participants to use their own vehicles without specialized equipment or licenses.
In Fukuoka Prefecture, the ‘2026 Onga Town Car Festival Autotest’ will be held on November 3, 2026, at the Onga General Sports Park. Organized by Racing Team Butler, the event accepts up to 60 vehicles. Participants who complete the course can qualify to apply for a domestic B license, which enables entry into other JAF-sanctioned motorsports. A JAF booth will offer ‘Children’s Safety Licenses’ featuring photos of participants who answer traffic rule quizzes.
In Tokushima Prefecture, JAF Tokushima will support the ‘Tokushima Institute of Technology with P2 Autotest in Michi-no-Eki Itano 2026’ on October 25. The event at Michi-no-Eki Itano will feature a JAF booth providing free photo safety licenses for up to 100 children, as well as lottery prizes and traffic safety exhibits, including police cars and motorcycles.
