Jagan Reddy warns police officials of accountability

Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president, warned police officials in Pulivendula that those responsible for injustice will be held accountable even after their retirement.

Addressing party cadres ahead of local body elections, Reddy stated that police officers serve under the Constitution rather than Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He emphasized that any attack on a YSRCP worker would be treated as an attack on himself.

Reddy accused the ruling coalition of conducting unfair elections by misusing official machinery and preventing the opposition from filing nomination papers. He claimed the government is using undemocratic tactics because it has failed to fulfill poll promises.
