Jagex releases RuneScape Havenhythe Part II expansion
Jagex has released Havenhythe Part II for RuneScape, marking the largest area expansion in the MMORPG’s 25-year history. The update is available for members on PC and mobile, introducing four new areas: the werewolf villages of Berylbrook and Heathervein, the Moonsylvar Wood, the Fenmoor boglands, and the ruined vampyre city of Shuruk-Ba.
The expansion features the finale of the Sanguine storyline, titled ‘Heralds of Crimson’. Players are tasked with defending Havenhythe against an invasion by the Ghrazi Blood Knights, who serve as a new end-game boss for solo or duo teams. The update also includes new skilling content, such as woodcutting and mining activities involving the bogolins.
To access the new content, players must have completed the ‘Secrets of Amberfell’ quest and meet specific skill requirements, including level 65 Mining, 60 Smithing, 55 Herblore, and 51 Crafting. Notable rewards include an ultra-rare, best-in-slot hatchet, Bogolin Pearls for local upgrades, and Chima Moss Spools.
