Jagex reveals RuneScape and Dragonwilds roadmaps through 2027

Jagex has unveiled extensive content roadmaps for both Old School RuneScape (OSRS) and RuneScape: Dragonwilds, spanning through 2027.

For Dragonwilds, the upcoming Luminance update in December will introduce Elves, elven customization, and the Prayer skill. This serves as a prelude to the Blood Crystal Saga in 2027, which includes the ‘Song of Rebellion’ and ‘Crown of the Night’ installments. Future updates are expected to include Hunter and Slayer skills, as well as modding support via CurseForge for all platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2.

Old School RuneScape players can expect ‘The Fractured Archive’ endgame raid on October 20, 2026, followed by the arrival of Hardcore Worlds on November 4, 2026. The 2027 roadmap for OSRS features the opening of the Menaphos area, the ‘Fool’s Gold’ quest, a new resource-gathering dungeon, the Soul Altar location, and overhauls to the Mining and Smithing skills.
