Jagiellonia Białystok acquires land for 150 million PLN sports complex

Jagiellonia Białystok has won a tender to purchase 14.5 hectares of land near Ciołkowskiego and Dywizjon 303 streets in Białystok. The club paid 22.22 million PLN net for the property, a transaction funded entirely through its own resources, including profits from recent Polish championships and European cup appearances.

The purchase marks the beginning of a major investment project estimated to cost up to 150 million PLN. The development is planned in stages. The first phase will cover approximately 4 hectares and include three full-sized pitches (one with a pneumatic cover), a 1,100-square-meter changing room building, and a technical/warehouse facility.

The second phase aims to construct a main building exceeding 8,000 square meters of usable space. This facility will house the senior teams, the football academy, administration, catering, and a sports championship school with a dormitory. The ultimate goal is a comprehensive complex featuring up to eight full-sized pitches, a sports medicine clinic, and the new headquarters for Jagiellonia Białystok Sportowa Spółka Akcyjna. The project is intended to alleviate pressure on the existing Elewatorska facility, which has become insufficient for the club's growing needs.
