Jagiellonia Białystok extends contracts for Romanczuk and Imaz
Jagiellonia Białystok has secured the long-term futures of two key players, Taras Romanczuk and Jesús Imaz, who have both signed contract extensions. The new agreements are valid until the end of the 2027/2028 season, with an option to extend for the 2028/2029 season.
Romanczuk, the club captain with over 400 appearances, and Imaz, the club's all-time leading scorer in the Ekstraklasa, were described by coach Adrian Siemieniec as ‘living legends’ and essential guardians of the club's culture and identity.
The extensions follow significant recent success for the club, including a 1-1 draw against Rangers FC in the Europa League third qualifying round, which allowed Jagiellonia to become the first Polish club to qualify for the league phase of European cups under the new format.
