Jagiellonia Białystok advances in Europa League qualifiers

In the UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds, Jagiellonia Białystok secured a historic advancement by defeating Rangers FC. After winning the first leg 2-1 in Poland, the Polish side earned a 1-1 draw at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow. Nik Prelec scored the crucial equalizer in the 65th minute, ensuring a 3-2 aggregate victory and moving Jagiellonia closer to the league phase.

In a separate qualifying matchup, Benfica advanced toward the Europa League play-offs following a dominant 6-1 victory over Hearts in the first leg. The second leg in Edinburgh ended in a 1-1 draw, which was insufficient for Hearts to overcome the massive deficit. Benfica's manager, Marco Silva, noted that while the team showed strength in the first half, physical conditioning and efficiency remained areas for improvement during the second half.
