Jagiellonia Białystok signs Swedish midfielder Hampus Finndell

Jagiellonia Białystok has officially signed 26-year-old Swedish midfielder Hampus Finndell from Djurgårdens IF. The defensive midfielder has signed a three-year contract with the Polish club.

Finndell, who has represented Sweden at the youth international level, previously played for Groningen in the Netherlands and has had loan spells in Germany and Norway. During the 2024/2025 season, he competed in the Conference League semi-finals with Djurgårdens IF.

This signing marks the third Scandinavian player to join Jagiellonia this summer, following the arrival of winger Jeremi Agbonifo and midfielder Anders Klynge. The transfer comes as the team prepares for a Europa League qualifying second leg against Iberia Tbilisi in Georgia, following a 4-0 victory in the first leg.
