Adrian Siemieniec suspended for six matches by Ekstraklasa

Adrian Siemieniec, the head coach of Jagiellonia Białystok, has been handed a six-match suspension in the Ekstraklasa following an incident involving inappropriate text messages sent to a referee. The disciplinary action stems from an attempt to influence officiating through a third party.

While Siemieniec is prohibited from being present on the bench or in the locker rooms during these matches, Jagiellonia has found a way to maintain his influence. Managing Director Maciej Szymański confirmed that the club has sought clarification on the regulations, allowing Siemieniec to communicate indirectly with the team.

Mikołaj Łuczak, a 31-year-old member of the coaching staff, is expected to lead the team from the sidelines during the suspension period. The ban applies specifically to Ekstraklasa matches; Siemieniec remains eligible to perform his duties in the Europa League and the Polish Cup.
