Jagiellonia midfielder Bartosz Mazurek close to Red Bull Salzburg deal

Jagiellonia Białystok’s 19‑year‑old midfielder Bartosz Mazurek, who scored a hat‑trick against Fiorentina in a Europa Cup match and posted four goals and three assists last season, is reported to be nearing a transfer to Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg. The Austrian side finished third in its league and will compete in the Europa League qualifiers.

Separately, Wisła Kraków goalkeeper Patryk Letkiewicz has signed a new contract extending his stay at the club until June 2028, with an option for an additional year. Letkiewicz, who helped Wisła win promotion to the Ekstraklasa, said he will fight to keep the starting spot amid competition from Marcel Łubik, emphasizing his commitment to the team’s upcoming season.
