Jagiellonian University students visit Kraków tourism department

Students from Jagiellonian University studying geography and geology visited the Kraków Department of Tourism to gain practical insights into tourism management. The visit focused on the complexities of managing tourism in a major destination and the challenges of balancing the needs of residents, businesses, and tourists.

A key component of the visit included a meeting with the Night Mayor of Kraków and members of the Commission for Sustainable Night Economy. Students were also introduced to the internal structure of the Department of Tourism and the role of projects funded by external local and international sources in the industry.
