JAGS Vöslau and Hypo Niederösterreich win Supercup titles

JAGS Vöslau and Hypo Niederösterreich secured Supercup titles in the season opening handball competitions in Austria.

In the men's competition, JAGS Vöslau defeated FÖRTHOF UHK Krems. Despite Krems remaining within striking distance throughout the match and nearly forcing a draw in the second half, the defending champions maintained concentration and utilized a power play in the final stages to secure the victory.

In the women's competition, Hypo Niederösterreich successfully defended its title for the seventh consecutive time, defeating MADx WAT Atzgersdorf with a score of 33:27. While Atzgersdorf managed to narrow the gap to a single goal early in the second half, Hypo Niederösterreich responded with a decisive scoring run to extend their lead and control the remainder of the match.
