Jaguar Land Rover launches limited‑edition Defender OCTA Black in Taiwan

Jaguar Land Rover Taiwan announced the 2026 Defender OCTA Black, a performance‑focused variant of the Defender OCTA, officially launched in the Taiwanese market. The model is limited to five units and is priced from NT$8.58 million (approximately 858 万元). It features a full‑black exterior treatment with about 30 components finished in Narvik Black paint, blacked‑out grille, wheels, brake calipers and under‑body elements, as well as a 5‑year factory‑warranty package.

The SUV is powered by a 4.4‑litre twin‑turbo mild‑hybrid V8 delivering 635 PS and 750 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in roughly 4 seconds. It incorporates the 6D Dynamics air‑suspension system and a dedicated OCTA Mode for extreme off‑road performance. Inside, the cabin uses Ebony semi‑aniline leather with Kvadrat fabric, black‑finished interior trim, and optional carbon‑fibre accents. The vehicle also offers Body and Soul Seats (BASS) that transmit music vibrations to occupants, and a Meridian surround‑sound system.
