Jaguar Land Rover unveils Range Rover GT interior details

Jaguar Land Rover has revealed the interior design for the upcoming Range Rover GT, a new model positioned as a traditional GT touring car. Built on the new EMA electric modular platform, the vehicle features a minimalist and modern cabin design inspired by the Jaguar Type 01. The interior includes a unique two-spoke steering wheel, a floating center console, and a large central touchscreen, prioritizing a quiet and luxurious atmosphere by reducing physical buttons.

Externally, the Range Rover GT maintains family design cues with signature lighting and a sleek fastback roofline. Prototype testing is currently underway in Europe, with vehicles traveling from the UK through Belgium to the Nürburgring to fine-tune chassis performance. The model aims for high aerodynamic efficiency to improve electric range and reduce wind noise.

The initial launch will feature an all-electric powertrain, potentially utilizing an 850V high-voltage architecture and a 118kWh ternary lithium battery capable of 350kW DC fast charging. While a dual-motor setup is expected, hybrid versions are also under development and are slated to follow the electric release.
