Jaguar reveals interior of flagship electric Type 01 GT

Jaguar has unveiled the interior of its upcoming Type 01, the brand’s first pure electric luxury four-door Grand Tourer (GT). The vehicle is designed to serve as the brand’s flagship electric vehicle.

The interior features a distinctive architectural design centered around a long central spine that divides the cabin into four independent spaces. This spine includes brass-like finishes and integrated cup holders. The design emphasizes a smooth, uninterrupted aesthetic with high-end materials such as natural stone and handcrafted textiles.

Technological integrations include a voice-activated interface, a long soundbar acting as an immersive speaker, and a digital clear-sight rear-view display positioned at the bottom center of the windscreen to allow the driver to focus on the road despite the absence of a traditional rear window. The vehicle is expected to produce approximately 1,000hp with a range of 400 miles. The full design of the Jaguar Type 01 is scheduled to be revealed in New York on October 6.
