Jaguar reveals Type 01 electric GT interior design

Jaguar has revealed details of the interior for its upcoming Type 01 electric GT, the first production model following the brand’s transition to an ultra-luxury electric vehicle manufacturer.

A defining feature of the cabin is a dramatic central spine that runs the length of the interior, dividing the space into four distinct passenger zones. The design philosophy moves away from large, dominant screens in favor of a more sculptural, minimalist aesthetic. Technology is intended to be integrated into the dashboard architecture rather than appearing as separate components, including a ClearSight Rear View Display located at the base of the windshield to assist driver visibility.

The material palette draws inspiration from travertine stone and brass, aiming to create a high-end, tactile environment. The driver is positioned low in the cabin to enhance the sense of control. The Type 01 is scheduled to make its full global debut in New York on October 6.
