Jaguar Uranium finds potential 4km copper trend in Argentina
Jaguar Uranium Corp. has announced final assay results from its rock sampling program at the Huemul Uranium-Copper-Vanadium Project in Malargüe, Mendoza Province, Argentina. The sampling identified high-grade mineralization, including copper levels up to 8.54%, uranium up to 2.27%, silver up to 708 g/t, and vanadium up to 1.27%.
Exploration efforts have identified a potential 4-kilometre-long trend of copper mineralization exposed at the surface, spanning the Uryco/Rosa, Black zone, and Vega Larga areas. These findings are part of a district-scale project covering more than 27,000 hectares.
The Huemul Project is located in a district with documented historical production; it includes Argentina's first uranium mine, which was operated by the Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica (CNEA) from 1955 to 1975. Following these results, the company plans to launch a maiden drill campaign to test these mineralized targets at depth.
