Jaguariaíva driver hits pole and residence during early morning accident

A driver caused a traffic accident in the Cidade Alta neighborhood of Jaguariaíva during the early hours of Sunday. The white vehicle veered off its path and struck a light pole, a wall, and the fence of a residence on Rua Major Vergílio.

Police reported that the driver showed signs of impaired psychomotor capacity and refused to take a breathalyzer test. Consequently, the driver was cited under the Brazilian Traffic Code for refusing to undergo alcohol or psychoactive substance testing and was taken to the 42nd Regional Police Station.
