Jaie Petty builds career as underwater stuntman and freediver

Jaie Petty, a London-based underwater stuntman and content creator, has built a career around the sport of freediving. Following increased interest in the discipline after the Netflix documentary ‘The Deepest Breath’, Petty uses his platform of 155,000 followers to share cinematic content of dives reaching depths of over 100 metres on a single breath.

Petty transitioned from a career as a film director at a venture capital firm to professional freediving after meeting Croatian diver Vitomir Maričić through his work as an ambassador for the marine conservation organization Sea Shepherd. He continues to work with conservation groups to promote ocean cleanliness while documenting elite underwater activities.
