Jaime Busto wins Spanish Trial Championship in Ripoll

Jaime Busto secured the Spanish Trial Championship title following the final competition rounds held in Ripoll. Busto, riding for Beta, maintained his dominance throughout the weekend, winning the final day with 13 penalty points to finish ten points ahead of Gabriel Marcelli in the final session.

Marcelli, representing Montesa, finished the event in second place with 23 penalty points, concluding the season as the national runner-up. The championship outcome was largely determined on Saturday when Busto's victory established a lead that Marcelli could not overcome on Sunday. The competition featured a limited field of five registered riders in the top category.

Other notable results in the top category included Alex Canales in third place, followed by Gerard Trueba in fourth and David Fabián in fifth. The event concluded the national trial season in a year where Toni Bou did not participate.
