Jaime Camil presents romantic comedy Atrápelo quien pueda at FICM

Actors Jaime Camil, Natalia Téllez, and Isabella Arroyo presented the romantic comedy “Atrápelo quien pueda” at the 2026 Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). Directed by Alfonso Pineda, the film follows Diego, a widowed father who attempts to re-enter the dating world through various apps and social connections at the urging of his daughter, Marina.

During the presentation, Jaime Camil addressed criticisms of the romantic comedy genre, stating that cinema should offer diverse proposals for different tastes, ranging from art films and dramas to comedies and romances. The cast noted that the film explores themes of grief, family bonds, and the possibility of starting over after loss.
