Jaime Revilla, former Iveco Spain CEO, dies at 75

Jaime Revilla Arroyo, the former president and chief executive officer of Iveco Spain, died in Madrid on July 31 at the age of 75. Born in Barcelona in 1951, Revilla spent more than four decades in the commercial‑vehicle sector, beginning his career at SAVA before its integration into ENASA‑Pegaso and later steering Iveco through challenging economic periods.

As head of Iveco Spain from 2011, he was credited with safeguarding the long‑term viability of the company’s factories in Madrid and Valladolid, helping to preserve many jobs and supporting families in the region. Industry leaders, including Luca Sra, CEO of Iveco’s truck division, and Marco Liccardo, the group’s chief technology and digitalisation officer, described him as a founding father and pillar of the organisation. His contributions were also recognised by the Spanish Association of Automotive Professionals, which named him an Illustrious Figure of Spanish Automotive History in 2019.
