Jaipur hosts Champions of Life Cricket Cup for organ transplant recipients

The ‘Champions of Life Cricket Cup 2026’ was held at the Ganpati Nagar Railway Ground in Jaipur, featuring 70 players who have undergone organ transplants or served as living donors. The tournament included participants who received kidney, liver, and heart transplants, aiming to demonstrate that an active lifestyle is possible following such medical procedures.

Organized by the Society for Transplant Athletes of Rajasthan (STAR) in collaboration with Rotary International District 3056, the event sought to raise public awareness about the importance of organ donation. By participating in the cricket match, the players challenged misconceptions regarding physical limitations after transplantation and highlighted organ donation as a vital means of providing new life to those in need.
