Jaipur police rescue businessman kidnapped for 40 lakh rupee ransom

Jaipur police have rescued a businessman and arrested three individuals, including a woman, following a kidnapping attempt involving a 40 lakh rupee ransom demand. The victim, Pokarchand Khatik, was abducted while having his vehicle repaired at an auto garage in Jaisinghpura.

The suspects reportedly used an unmarked Scorpio to forcibly take the victim and later contacted his son to demand the ransom. They threatened to kill the victim and transport him to Haryana if the money was not paid.

Authorities identified the suspects as Suman Yadav, Vishnu Gurjar, and Monu Gurjar. During the operation, police recovered a revolver, six live cartridges, and two empty casings. Investigations revealed that Suman Yadav had allegedly orchestrated the plot and paid 50,000 rupees to hire bouncers for the crime.
