Jairo Concha delays contract renewal with Universitario

Universitario de Deportes is working to secure the continuity of midfielder Jairo Concha, who is considered a key figure in the team's sporting project. Although the club has presented an attractive proposal to extend his contract beyond the end of 2026, the player has not yet signed the agreement.

Reports indicate that Concha is delaying his decision to evaluate potential opportunities to play abroad. By waiting, the player may increase his appeal to international clubs by potentially becoming a free agent. The player is expected to review his options following his participation with the Peruvian national team.
