Jairo Concha undecided on Universitario de Deportes renewal

Midfielder Jairo Concha has yet to decide whether he will renew his contract with Universitario de Deportes. Although the club presented a renewal proposal approximately three weeks ago, Concha has not provided a response. His current contract is set to expire in December, meaning he will become a free agent if an agreement is not reached.

While Universitario seeks to secure his continuity to assist in squad planning for next season, there are currently no concrete offers from other clubs. Concha remains part of the squad under Héctor Cúper for the Clausura Tournament and is currently focused on his commitments with the Peruvian national team following a call-up by Mano Menezes for upcoming FIFA date friendlies.

In related discussions, Daniela Butrón expressed interest in seeing Concha return to Alianza Lima.
