Jakarta authorities clear drug stalls in Kampung Ambon

Authorities in West Jakarta have conducted operations to dismantle drug-related infrastructure in Kampung Ambon, Cengkareng. Approximately 200 joint personnel from the Jakarta Barat Regional Police, local government, and military forces worked to clear debris and remains of stalls previously used for drug transactions and consumption.

Following the demolition and burning of these structures, the West Jakarta municipal government plans to revitalize the area by transforming it into a greener space. Upcoming activities include social and health services, with scheduled visits from the National Police Chief and the Minister of Housing and Residential Areas to engage with local residents.
