Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road implements contraflow to ease congestion

Police and PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) implemented a contraflow traffic system on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The measure was applied from KM 21 to KM 23 in the direction of Cikampek starting at 07:31 WIB.

The traffic engineering was enacted as a discretionary measure by authorities to alleviate vehicle congestion caused by ongoing work on the toll road. JTT personnel and police officers were deployed to the site to manage vehicle flow and ensure safety.

JTT officials have advised motorists to exercise caution, maintain safe following distances, reduce speed when entering the contraflow lane, and follow all instructions from officers on the ground.
