Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road implements contraflow to ease congestion

Police and PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) implemented contraflow traffic engineering on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road toward Cikampek on Tuesday morning, October 13, 2026. The measure was introduced at 07:49 WIB to alleviate heavy vehicle congestion.

Jauzy Anbiya, Senior Manager Representative Office 1 at JTT, stated that the contraflow is active from KM 21 to KM 23. Authorities are monitoring the situation and coordinating with police to adjust traffic management based on real-time field conditions.

Dary Achmad Budi, Acting VP Corporate Secretary & Legal at JTT, advised motorists to exercise caution, maintain safe distances, and reduce speed when entering the contraflow lane. Drivers are also urged to follow all traffic signs and instructions from officers on site.
